Your are to find out:

Double Page Spreads - Thumbnails - Typography- Recreate Newspaper Page

In lesson we have looked at the design process and you have these handouts for your exercise books.

Using the 8 point plan we discussed the concepts compared newspaper double page spreads.

In lesson and to complete as homework:

Looking at typography - using your forename or surname you are to draw it out based on the examples in your exercise book.

Photograph 2 x double page spreads (DPS)

Create 'detailed' thumbnails of these DPS - with labels showing text wraps, images, graphic images, margins, columns, etc

Look at the way text/ typography has been used in the DPS - does it help or hinder the story/ content?

In lesson we will discuss how serif/sans serif and use of text can really enhance the articles.

Now using your skill with typography and InDesign you are to recreate your DPS chosen and enhance it using stronger typography.

Complete for homework if not completed in lesson and upload onto Blogger with annotation for Mondays lesson where you will be presenting it to the class.
